Regular scheduled library lessons for pre-k to 5

Circulation is approximately 300 books per day!

Over 11,000 volumes in the library!

Over 50 "Book in a Bag" literacy kits developed in conjuction with FHSU education department available for checkout, each includes a book with activities to enjoy at home with an adult to promote reading enjoyment.

At least one book fair per year in October during teacher conference week. A second half price book fair is often held in April.

Special theme activities each year during Children's Book Week and National Library Month.

Accelerated Reader and S.T.A.R. Program.

Open library checkout for all students in addition to twice weekly scheduled library times for most grades.

Guided Reading implemented throughout school with large selection of book sets available.

Research integration with teachers as needed.
